Part of the 2010 Southern Maine Cycle Fest, a celebration of cycling in all of its forms from racing to recreational riding to transportational cycling. The Fest consists of the New England Human Powered Vehicle Rally on Saturday and the time trial on Sunday. Partial Proceeds to benefit cycling related causes in Southern Maine, including the Biddeford Community Bicycle Center.
Kennebunkport Bicycle Company (formerly Cape Able Bikes) has signed on as an event sponsor. They will be providing water and bagels the morning of the race as well as some additional prizes to be announced at the race.
The Race is hosted by Wildfire Human Powered Vehicles, specializing in recumbent bikes, trikes and velomobiles.
Course:
A very popular fast, flat-to-rolling 13 mile course, it is great to have this even back on the Maine TT Series calendar.
Note: Due to road construction on part of Goose Rocks Rd, the course has been modified to detour around the construction while keeping the course length approximately the same. Please make note of the new course below.
Start at Goose Rocks Firestation (as before) on Route 9 heading south.
Turn right onto Beachwood Rd.( you will have gone past past the Clock Farm/Goose Rocks Rd.).
Turn Right onto Stone Rd.
Turn Right onto Goose Rocks Rd.
Turn Left onto Whitten Hills Rd.
Bear right onto Guinea Rd.
At the four way stop, turn Right onto West St. There is a section on West St. where the road is cracked and not very smooth. Please be careful.
Turn Right onto Route 9 and return to the Goose Rocks Firestation.
(Old Course - NOT being used: Starting from Goose Rocks Firehouse in Kennebunkport on Route 9, head south. Take a right turn on Goose Rocks Road (at Clock Farm) and continue to Whitten Hills Road. Bear right onto Guinea Road. Right turn onto Meeting House Road, right turn onto Pool Street (Route 9). Continue on Route 9 to finish at Goose Rocks Firehouse.)
Parking and Registration:
Start and finish area / registration / parking is located at Goose Rocks Firehouse, 2 Winter Harbor Road, Kennebunkport
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. and first start is at 8:30 a.m.

Directions
From the Maine Turnpike, take exit 32, go left at the light onto Alfred Street. Go approximately 1.5 miles to traffic light and bear right onto West Street. (As you pass through this intersection, Burger Kind should be on your left and a cemetery on the right). Go approximately 5.6 miles to the end of West Street and turn right onto Route 9. The firehouse is approximately 1.3 miles on the left.
