The CycleMania Time Trial features a 13.55-mile course that begins and ends at the Cape Elizabeth High School at 345 Ocean House Road in Cape Elizabeth.
Course:
The CycleMania Time Trial course begins in front of the high school. Riders exit right from the High School onto Route 77 and proceed past the Inn by the Sea on the left. Just after the top of a short hill, racers take a right on Fowler road (the first right), which returns to Route 77. Racers once again ride past the Inn by the Sea, and at the top of the hill, riders take the second right onto Spurwink Avenue all the way past the Purpoodock Golf Course. Take a right onto Route 77 all the way back to the high school. The finish line appears just after the turn into the high school, which will require caution.
Field Limit:
This event is limited to the first 100 riders to register online. Day of event registration will be $30. Pre-register here
USA Cycling License Required:
The CycleMania Time Trial is a sanctioned USA Cycling Event. Riders with valid licenses will not be required to pay for a one-day license. Unlicensed riders must purchase a one-day USA Cycling License, which can be purchased at event registration.
Race Order:
The race starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. with faster riders seeded first based upon a time estimate received in the registration form. Please estimate your 14-mile time as accurately as you can.
Awards:
Keeper trophies will be awarded to the top three riders in each division and for the top three overall men’s and women’s winners.
