MAINE BIKE RALLY TIME TRIAL

The time trial is part of the Maine Bike Rally, a three-day event where riders from Maine, New England and Canada gather to celebrate cycling. The Rally features both on-road and off-road rides as well as an accredited time-trial event.

Parking and Registration:

Start and finish area / registration / parking are located at Brunswick High School on 116 Maquoit Road in Brunswick

Registration is $20 prior to July 8 and increases to $25 after July 8. Register early

Day of race registration opens at 8 a.m.

First start is at 9 a.m.

Course:

The Brunswick TT course is a 15.5 mile, flat to rolling hills course along scenic Maquoit Bay and pleasant inland country roads. The course will be fast but has enough 'testing' moments to keep you working hard.

Clockwise course
From the start at Brunswick HS, head south on Maquoit Rd
At right hand corner near bay, becomes Woodside Rd
Turn left onto Bunganuc Rd
Bunganuc Rd becomes Flying Point Rd
Continue south on Flying Point Rd
Bear right to stay on Flying Point Rd (going straight takes you onto Lower Flying Point Rd)
Hard right turn onto Pleasant Hill Rd
Turn right onto Woodside Rd
At left hand corner near bay, becomes Maquoit Rd
Follow Maquoit Rd to finish at Brunswick HS.

This is an open course.

Racers ride with traffic and are solely responsible for their own safety at all times
Helmets are required.
No support vehicles are allowed.
Race directors decision in all matters is final
Release forms must be signed prior to racing
Written parental consent is required for persons under 18 years of age.

All proceeds from this time trial benefit the education and advocacy programs of the Bicycle Coalition of Maine.
