BROOKER AND MCNETT WIN IN VASSALBORO!
Forty-five racers competed in the new race to the series, the Central Maine Cycling Club's Vassalboro Time Trial, contested on a 10.5 mile course held in Vassalboro. Racers were met with overcast but dry conditions with virtually no wind and raced on a fantastic course that was held on smooth, rolling, back country roads meandering by Webber Pond and the Natanis Golf Course.
Only 26 seconds separated the top three men with Seth Brooker winning first place with a very fast time of 24:02 and Milan Babik crossing the finish line only 6 seconds later in 24:08 placing second. David Znamierowski placed third with a time of 24:28.
The women's division was also very close with Cindy McNett winning the race with a time of 26:41 and Erin Brennan finishing only 10 seconds later placing second with a time of 26:51 and Ivy Luhrs placing third with a time of 27:18.
