THOMAS AND BRENNAN TAKE HOME THE WINS AT MID-COAST TT

The second time trial of the season was contested this week on an all-time favorite 15.2 mile course in Camden with 45 racers hammering up and down the hills of the scenic coastal town under sunny skies and gusting winds.

Fred Thomas of Cape Elizabeth won the race by completing the course with an unbelievable time of 32.06 minutes setting a new course record. (Fred beat his own record set last year by 26 seconds). Doug Chiasson took second place with a time of 34:35 crossing the finish line a minute before Bill Black who captured third with a time of 35:35.

Erin Brennan of Portland flew over the course and took the win in the women's division with a time of 40:17. Carol Meader crossed the finish line in 41:57 taking second place, and Kathy Fleury took third with a time of 47:11.
