The second time trail of the Maine Time Trial Series took place under partly sunny skies as 57 racers came out to compete on the 13.55 mile rolling course in Cape Elizabeth.
Fred Thomas won the race and also set a course record by crossing the finish line in only 29.43. Mark Caron placed second with a time of 31:12, and David Znamierowski finished only two seconds later taking third with a time of 31:14.
In the women's division, only one tenth of a second separated the top two finishers. Carrie McCusker took the win with a time of 35:07:1 and Nicole Pisani placed second with a time of 35:07:2. Cindy McNett finished only 14 seconds later earning her the third time finish with a time of 35:21:4.
